Equivo is proud to have been named Best Use of Technology winner at the Collections & Vulnerability Awards 2026, hosted by Credit Strategy.
The award recognises our continued investment in innovation and the development of intelligent, connected technology that is helping to strengthen operational performance, enhance client oversight and support better customer outcomes.
Technology has been instrumental in shaping Equivo’s success, and this recognition marks another significant milestone in our ambition to advance what’s possible across collections and recoveries.
Transforming Quality Assurance Through AI
One of the innovations at the heart of this achievement is Equivo Vision™, our AI-enabled quality assurance platform, developed to transform how body-worn video (BWV) interactions are analysed and reviewed.
Traditional quality assurance has often relied on reviewing a sample of customer interactions. Whilst valuable, this approach can limit visibility of the wider picture, particularly where important signs of customer vulnerability may otherwise go unnoticed.
By using AI to analyse 100% of body-worn video interactions across both audio and video, the platform provides a more comprehensive view of field activity, helping identify potential vulnerability indicators, assess interaction quality and highlight areas requiring further attention.
This represents an important advancement in our approach to quality assurance, enabling greater consistency, stronger oversight and earlier opportunities to identify customers who may require additional support.
Importantly, AI does not replace human judgement. Findings are reviewed by trained colleagues, ensuring that experience, understanding and professional decision-making remain central to how we support customers.

The percentage figures referenced in the judges’ comments are based on test data gathered during the evaluation of our technology, rather than live operational performance.
Connected Technology. Meaningful Outcomes.
Equivo Vision™ forms part of our wider connected technology ecosystem, which brings together field operations, customer engagement and client oversight.
Our approach to innovation has always been driven by the value technology can deliver, rather than the technology itself.
For our clients, this means greater transparency, stronger assurance and improved visibility of operational activity.
For customers, it means more informed engagement, earlier recognition of individual circumstances and a consistent, considered approach to achieving fair outcomes.
For our teams, it means better intelligence, stronger operational support and the tools to make more informed decisions.
By combining advanced technology with specialist operational expertise, we’re continually finding new ways to improve performance, strengthen governance and deliver services that respond to the evolving needs of clients and customers.
A Proud Achievement, With More to Come
Winning Best Use of Technology is a fantastic recognition of the progress we’ve made and the commitment to innovation that continues to drive Equivo forward.
Behind every technological advancement are the people who bring it to life. From developing new capabilities to embedding them into everyday operations, our colleagues play an essential role in turning innovation into meaningful improvements.
We’re immensely proud to see that work recognised by the industry.
But our ambitions don’t stop here. We remain committed to advancing our technology, challenging conventional approaches and continuing to raise standards across collections and recoveries.
Our thanks go to Credit Strategy and the judging panel for recognising our achievements, and to everyone across Equivo who has contributed to this success.
