Shakira is a Conveyancer in the Mortgage Recoveries team. She is approachable, knowledgeable and committed to achieving the best possible resolutions for clients and stakeholders.

Shakira acts for UK banks, building societies and other financial institutions in dealing with properties being conveyed under power of sale, private treaty and auction contracts, shared ownership schemes and assisted voluntary sales from title review to completion as well as surplus distribution and charge release matters. Supported by useful technology, she proactively works with clients and asset managers throughout each transaction, ensuring they are fully appraised to enable effective decisions to be made.

Shakira has over 18 years’ experience in residential conveyancing and joined Equivo after 11 years with Shoosmiths LLP’s Mortgage Recoveries Conveyancing during which time she built symbiotic and holistic working relationships with both clients and their asset managers.
