Johanne is a Senior Associate specialising in secured recoveries. Johanne works with lenders and deals with the most complex, defended cases. She is experienced at handling contentious matters, including claims issued against our clients, as well as dealing with property title rectification matters. Johanne is also Equivo’s Vulnerable Customer Co-Ordinator.

Johanne joined Shoosmiths as a solicitor in 2014. She has built up extensive experience in mortgage recoveries where she works with a wide range of lenders on the most complicated, contentious cases.

Johanne deals with all aspects of secured debt recovery including defended proceedings, enforcement and defending any claims brought against our clients.

In addition, Johanne works closely with our property sales team to deal with any title rectification issues and problems with properties in possession.

Johanne is also the Vulnerable Customer Co-Ordinator and manages all aspects of Equivo’s efforts to ensure that vulnerable customers are treated fairly and consistently with the FCA’s guidelines and overall approach.

Before qualifying as a solicitor, Johanne spent several years working for the SRA as a Regulatory Supervisor.
