Hedley is our compliance consultant, Hedley is passionate and pragmatic about doing the right thing for customers and treating customers fairly. He strives to balance the needs and requirements of customers, clients, the business and regulators.

Prior to joining Equivo, Hedley worked for Shoosmiths Compliance team for over 5 years.

He has worked in financial services for over 40 years and Compliance management roles for 30 years, including Nationwide, Aviva and outsource companies Serco and Diligenta.

An ever-changing regulatory landscape has provided him with experience across, mortgages, savings, investments, pensions, life and general insurances, and debt recovery.

Hedley manages a team which helps support the business with (amongst other things), risk management, governance oversight, Compliance strategy and framework, Compliance policies, Compliance monitoring, letter/ documents sign-offs, horizon scanning for future regulatory/legislative changes, data protection and complaint handling.
